Understanding Grain-Free Cat Food

Post by Kevin23 »

Grain-free cat food has become very popular, but many owners are unsure whether it is truly necessary. Cats do not require grains in their diet, but that does not automatically mean grains are harmful. The main focus should be on protein quality rather than simply avoiding certain ingredients.

Some cats with sensitivities may benefit from grain-free formulas, while others do perfectly well with limited grains. Problems often come from low-quality fillers rather than grains themselves. Reading ingredient lists carefully helps identify good options.

Choosing food based on your cat’s response, not trends, leads to better health outcomes over time.
